JoAnna Pendergrass is a veterinarian and freelance medical writer in Atlanta, GA. After graduating from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine with her veterinary degree, JoAnna completed a two-year research fellowship in neuroscience at Emory University.
